What It’s Like Working With Me

Booking a session with me means taking time for yourself to invest in yourself. It’s a space to take a breath and focus your attention on yourself. Trying to let go and open yourself up to unclutter your emotions may seem like a daunting task. So where do we start?

We will likely start with something acute in your current life. This may be a conflict, a decision, a reaction that stayed with you. The goal is not to make an abstract analysis, but slowing down, taking away the pressure, allowing you to pause and slowly taking off the load.

During a session you are in the lead. What does that mean? You are not pushed to talk about something you are not ready for or is not relevant to you at the moment. Instead, I will give you an impulse or ask a thought-provoking question to help you gain a different point of view, because sometimes we need to take a step back in order to see what we are even looking at.

Having someone with you to help move around the topics you carry with you, can lead to small but significant aha moments. I will be there with you, not as a judge, but as a companion. My job is to listen to you, give structure to your thoughts bubbling up and help shed a light on them. This way you do not need to pay attention to what you are saying and can just speak your mind freely. Over time, you will learn to see your patterns, too and – in the process – understand yourself more and more.
